Tom Hyland attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ on a full academic scholarship, graduating Cum Laude in May 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and English. He began his 22 year career in financial services with McLaughlin, Piven, Vogel, Inc. on Wall Street, rising to the position of Vice President. Tom left the firm in early 1987 to launch his own independent financial planning practice, which he has maintained for the past 22 years.

Later in 1987, Tom joined Tomorrow’s Financial Services, Inc., now located in Lincroft, NJ, and was instrumental in the formation of its subsidiary broker dealer, TFS Securities, Inc. In 1989, he formed TFS Mortgage Corporation, a correspondent mortgage banker licensed in New Jersey and Florida. In 1990, TFS Insurance Agency was formed to further expand the insurance business at TFS. In 1995, he started TFS Income Tax Preparation Services and, in 1997, Tom spearheaded the firm’s move into the asset management business with the creation of the Investment Advisory firm now known as Innovative Market Trends. He has served as President of each of these subsidiary companies since their formation.

Joanne began her diversified career in 1976 as an Administrator in the Package & Design Department of E.R. Squibb & Sons. In 1982 Joanne left Squibb and joined Tomorrow’s Financial Services, Inc., where she handled various Administrative duties for TFS Insurance Agency, Inc.

While at TFS, Joanne assisted in the establishment and launching of TFS Securities, Inc., a TFS subsidiary. She has served as Chief Executive Officer of TFS and subsidiary companies since 1992. She holds the Series 7 and 24 registrations. Some of Joanne’s principal responsibilities are overseeing administrative duties for all of the TFS family of companies. She also acts as a liaison for Presidents Council Members and TFS Managers. Joanne oversees compliance, commissions, corporate reports, firm accounting, conferences and technology. Under her guidance, the TFS house is a happy house due to her honest and sincere management and regulation of employee relations. Joanne resides in Colts Neck with her husband, Dave and enjoys all of her free time spent with her three children, David, Nicole and Kevin. When she is not with her family, Joanne enjoys reading.

Steven Hipsher joined TFS Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2002 and is currently the Director of Operations. His functions and duties include the oversight of daily operations, product development, sales assistance, underwriting assistance, comparative policy analysis, sales illustration assistance, and advanced case design. Prior to joining TFS, Steven was an Insurance Brokerage Assistant for The Bisys Group. Steven graduated from TCI Technical Institute where he earned his degree in Computer Network Administration. Steven has 9 years of Insurance industry experience and can be a great resource for any of your insurance needs ranging from basic product information and recommendations, through advanced case design and sales support. A veteran of the financial services industry, Ted began his financial services career with The Prudential in 1990 and was consistently ranked among the top producers of their company. In 1995 he left Prudential and joined Mass Mutual in a management capacity as one of the youngest District Managers in the country.

Seeking to broaden his financial horizons, he joined TFS in 1998 as director of long-term care marketing, overseeing a sales force of over 300 representatives in marketing and promoting long term care and eldercare planning. In addition to being one of TFS’ top personal producers, Ted recently was appointed to the position of Senior Market Specialist; encompassing his broad knowledge of senior planning in the areas of fixed and equity indexed annuities as well as long term care planning. Ted resides in Toms River NJ with his wife and two children.

Rebecca Nicoletta joined TFS Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2006 and is currently our In-House Underwriting Consultant and Senior Case Manager. Duties in this capacity include preliminary application review from a financial and medical perspective, assessment of medical records and test results, as well as general case management duties. Rebecca’s goal is to make sure every application that crosses her desk is fully scrubbed, and that all requirements are obtained as quickly as possible. Rebecca’s prior experience ranges from Brokerage Case Manager for a local brokerage agency all the way through being the Chief Underwriter of William Penn Life Assurance of America. Rebecca has her B.S. in Liberal Arts from Brooklyn College as well as her Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant certifications from the American College of Insurance. Rebecca can answer any of your preliminary medical or financial underwriting questions and help you choose the right company for your client.

Carol Woodward joined TFS Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2007 and is currently an Insurance Case Manager. Her duties in this capacity include liaising between our brokers and carriers to ensure the swift approval of all Insurance business. In addition to her role as Case Manager, Carol also continues her long history of working with retail clients and assisting them with their Insurance & Mortgage planning needs. Prior to joining TFS, Carol worked for 8 years as an Account Manager for a Group Benefits Brokerage. Carol graduated from Middlesex County College with a degree in Business Management. Carol can help you with any questions you may have about the Life Insurance process or any pending business.

Anne-Marie Tomaro joined TFS Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2006 and is currently the Licensing Coordinator for Fixed Life & Fixed Annuity products. Anne-Marie serves as a liaison between our carriers and our brokers ensuring that each producer is set up properly with the carriers they choose to write business. Anne-Marie’s functions and duties include corresponding with carriers, assisting brokers with completion of our electronic licensing paperwork system, and assisting with daily reporting of new business activities. Anne-Marie graduated from Seton Hall University with B.A. in Communications and is also a licensed Life producer. Anne-Marie can help you with your initial licensing requirements, or navigate you through getting contracted with a multitude of Insurance carriers. Mark Sanpietro joined TFS Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2007 and is currently the Insurance Commission Coordinator, responsible for tracking all commissions flowing through TFS Insurance doors. Mark will also be the contact person to answer any commission questions you have or issues you need to be researched. Mark also currently assists as our new business coordinator, entering case information in to our online status database, as well as ensuring that all medical requirements that are needed are ordered. Prior to joining TFS Insurance Agency, Inc. Mark worked for 10 years in the Securities Industry. Mark has his Associates Degree in Marketing from Middlesex County College. Mark can help you track down any Insurance commission concern or statement that you may need.
